As a Youth Protector at a social organization, you contribute to the well-being of young people and families, with an eye for a good work-life balance.
What you will do.
- You take the lead in forced assistance within a family.
- You organize, call, email, determine the care need, and write advisory reports.
- You coordinate with families, chain partners, and the child protection council.
- Together with formal and informal advisors, you draw up an action plan to improve the family's situation, always focused on a safe future for the youth.
- You handle cases independently, supported by behavioral scientists, colleagues, and the team leader.
- Weekly case discussions are held for difficult cases.
- Approximately 70% of your time is spent working from the office (or, in good consultation, sometimes from home), 30% is spent visiting families, court, school, or other stakeholders.
- The challenge of the work lies in complex problems and hectic situations, such as families who are distrustful or cause nuisance.
- You always keep the higher goal in mind: the safety and development of the child and the entire family situation.
Profile
- A completed HBO education (Bachelor).
- An SKJ registration or the possibility to obtain it in the short term.
- In possession of a driving license and car for ambulatory activities and the team location.
- You are a Christian (Protestant / Catholic, etc.) and can indicate what this means to you.
