Construction Site Manager
A large contractor is looking for several site managers. The focus is on industrial and residential buildings. As a Construction Site Manager, you are responsible for the successful realization of one or more construction projects. You monitor the progress of the works, manage teams, and ensure that everything is executed according to planning, budget, and quality standards. You act as a central figure between all involved parties and ensure efficient cooperation on and around the construction site.
What you will do.
- You take full operational responsibility for the assigned projects, from preparation to delivery.
- You monitor the progress of the works and adjust where necessary to guarantee optimal execution.
- You organize, coordinate, and control daily activities on the construction site, with attention to quality, safety, and efficiency.
- You work closely with various internal departments such as purchasing, concrete construction, asphalt works, and the service center to ensure projects run smoothly.
- You maintain professional relationships with clients, architects, suppliers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
- You take initiative, think solution-oriented, and are given the space to make independent decisions within your projects.
- You report periodically on progress, points of attention, and results to the project leader.
Profile
- You have a Bachelor's degree in Construction, a Master's in Construction, or have built up an equivalent level through relevant work experience.
- You hold a valid VCA VOL certificate.
- Experience as a site manager or in a similar role in the construction sector is a strong asset.
- You communicate fluently and easily build professional relationships with colleagues and external partners.
- You work in a structured, accurate manner and remain focused on achieving set objectives.
- Thanks to your foresight, you identify potential challenges in time and take proactive action.
- You are able to make independent decisions and take responsibility where necessary.
- Changing circumstances or priorities do not deter you; you adapt flexibly to the needs of the project.
