Coordinator Selection Advisors

The Selection Team is part of the Inflow, Throughflow, and Outflow (IDU) Department of a government organization. This department ensures that the right person is in the right place at the right time. The Selection Team carries out the statutory inflow and throughflow selections for positions within the organization. The team consists of over 100 FTE, of which 30 are selection advisors.

What you will do.

• Daily operational management of the team of selection advisors.
• Responsible for achieving results and organizational objectives.
• Stimulating, motivating, and coaching employees.
• Conducting annual performance and development reviews.
• Monitoring the progress of planning processes.
• Point of contact for chain partners.
• Participating in strategic consultations with chain partners.
• Identifying bottlenecks in processes and systems and initiating improvements.
• Advising management, both solicited and unsolicited, and being part of the Selection Management Team.
• Managing multiple portfolios, such as sub-process ownership, housing, Diversity & Inclusion, and external colleagues.
• Managing secondary tasks of the selection advisors.
• The selection advisors observe behavior and assess candidates through assessments (role-play), report their findings to selection psychologists, and contribute to the development of selection procedures and assessment content.
