As a refrigeration service technician, you are responsible for troubleshooting and performing repairs on professional kitchen equipment.
- You provide preventive maintenance for installations such as cold rooms and freezers at various clients, including healthcare institutions, educational institutions, company restaurants, and government locations.
- You work independently in your own region with a fully equipped service van.
- Opportunities for growth are available to become a Senior Technician or Technical Specialist.
What you do
- Quickly resolve malfunctions and perform repairs on commercial kitchen equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance to ensure installations and equipment run smoothly.
- Efficiently organize the workday with a service van and app, including ordering parts and processing work orders digitally.
- Explain completed work to clients and advise on necessary repairs, maintenance, or replacement.
- Regularly attend internal and external training to stay up-to-date with the latest commercial kitchen technology.
What they ask
- Completed MBO (intermediate vocational education) in a technical field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum two years of experience in refrigeration service or maintenance, preferably in a similar role.
- Possession of an F-gas (category 1) certificate.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude.
- Flexible and willing to perform on-call duties (in consultation and according to a clear schedule).
- Proficiency in the Dutch language is a requirement.
