As a project manager, you are the indispensable link that ensures projects run smoothly within an internationally operating technology company. You are the linchpin between various departments such as Sales, Engineering, Production, and Service.
What you do
- Be ultimately responsible for assigned projects.
- Act as the pivot between Sales, Engineering, Production, and Service.
- Ensure project success thanks to your experience and technical knowledge.
- Handle challenging projects with a lead time of 6 months to 1 year and a value of 0.5 to 10 million euros.
- Monitor agreements on quality and finances.
- Create support, motivate, and facilitate project team members.
- Manage risks and expectations of both clients and internal departments.
- Travel regularly to visit projects at international clients.
- Be involved in the final evaluation with all stakeholders after delivery for continuous improvement.
- Report directly to the Head of Project Management.
What they ask
- Technical HBO diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience as a project manager in machine construction (preferably).
- Required technical knowledge (mechanical and control engineering).
- Good command of Dutch, English, and German, both verbally and in writing.
