Preventive Youth Protector

• Gather information from chain partners (schools, aid organizations, general practitioners) to get a complete picture of the situation.
• Based on research, establish goals and basic requirements that parents must work on to restore safety within the family.
• Deploy assistance where necessary.
• Take on a directing role once the family plan is complete and assistance starts.
• Remain involved with the family, manage, and plan evaluations.
• Ensure smooth cooperation between the family and assistance.
• Actively involve parents in the process for effective collaboration.

What they ask

• Demonstrable completed education at a minimum of HBO bachelor level.
• Minimum 1 year of demonstrable work experience as a Youth Professional at a public organization.
• Demonstrably in possession of a valid SKJ registration.

Desired.

• Minimum 5 years of demonstrable work experience in youth care, for example as a Youth Protector, Family Manager, and/or Family Coach or Ambulant.
• Minimum 4 years of demonstrable work experience in the past 8 years as a youth and family worker at a public organization.
• Demonstrable work experience with crisis situations, complex family situations, and/or signs of child abuse.
