Youth Residential Supervisor
You will guide young people aged 13 to 18 in their personal development, independence, and undertaking of activities. The young people receive 24/7 guidance so that from the age of 18, they can live independently in a reception center, their country of origin, or their own home.
What you will do.
- Organize (group) activities such as cooking, sports, or creative activities.
- Act as a shadow mentor in complex cases.
- Conduct methodical conversations with young people.
- Perform room checks.
- Provide information.
- Collaborate in morning, afternoon, and night shifts.
- Participate in meetings and intervision discussions.

- Minimum of an MBO level 4 diploma in anagogic field (e.g., Social Work, Personal social care supervisor, Specific target group supervisor, Pedagogical employee).
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience.
- Knowledge of methodical guidance and intercultural communication.
- Be resilient, social, collegial, and reliable.
- Availability for day, evening, night, and weekend shifts (night shifts are always wake-up shifts).
Profile
You will work at one of the locations where unaccompanied minor foreign nationals (UMF) are accommodated. These can be permanent reception locations or emergency reception locations (e.g., hotel, holiday park, office building). A team consists of an average of 15 to 40 employees, including youth workers, residential supervisors, and behavioral experts.
