Contract Manager

Advises management, tender, and project teams on all kinds of contractual matters to minimize risks and optimize contractual opportunities.

Responsible for the analysis of contract documents in the tender phase, to ultimately arrive at an acceptable project contract.
After award and contract signing, advises the project organization on how to implement the conditions set in the contract and handles contract changes and claims.
Stimulates contract awareness by coaching and training colleagues on contract knowledge and related skills.
Proactively improves and develops business processes in the field of contract management.
Organizes, coordinates, and supervises all contractual activities necessary for a smooth-running project and a successful end result.
Professionally informs project teams based on facts, proposes possible strategies, and translates them into practical applications.
Works closely with project managers or directors.

Profile

Team player, connecting link, provides constructive opposition when necessary.
Critical thinking skills.
Flexible and problem-solving oriented.
Excellent oral and written communication skills in both Dutch and English.
Minimum HBO (higher professional education) degree in civil engineering or law.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as a contract manager.
Knowledge of commonly used standard conditions in construction such as UAV 2012 and UAV-GC 2025.
