A municipal organization is looking for an all-round Policy Advisor Energy & Climate who can provide an overview and translate complex issues into concrete results. You will connect policy, implementation, administration, and society, contributing to the realization of solutions within municipal tasks.
What you do
- Translating policy objectives into concrete actions and executable plans
- Advising administration, management, and colleagues on issues within the field
- Connecting internal and external stakeholders and contributing to solutions for current issues related to grid congestion
- Further developing the insulation program, with attention to the role of the energy counter, subsidies, energy poverty, and energy coaches/advisors
- Coordinating a Species Management Plan (SMP) yet to be established
- Identifying relevant developments within the field and discussing them with involved colleagues and stakeholders
- Reporting on the progress of activities and achieved results
What they ask
- Minimum of 3 years demonstrable work experience as a policy advisor at a municipal organization
- Demonstrably completed education at a minimum of HBO bachelor level
- Demonstrable work experience in an administrative environment with political influences
- Demonstrable work experience with programmatic or project-based work
Preferences.
- Demonstrably completed education at a minimum of WO master level
- Demonstrable work experience with issues related to energy counters and/or insulation subsidies
- Demonstrable work experience with grid congestion issues
- Minimum of 2 years demonstrable work experience with energy poverty at a municipal organization
