A national airport operator is strongly committed to digitalization, information management, and the further development of BIM across the entire lifecycle of infrastructure and assets. To strengthen the BIM team, an experienced BIM Expert is sought.
What you will do. You will play a central role within the BIM and information management landscape of the organization. The emphasis is on managing, optimizing, and monitoring processes, standards, and data flows within a complex infrastructure environment.
- Managing and monitoring BIM and information management standards according to ISO 19650
- Collecting feedback from projects and translating it into concrete improvement actions
- Supporting the further development of the Object Type Library (OTL) and the Master Information Model
- Managing the integration of IFC, CAD standards, and links with other systems
- Monitoring export products and data structures within the BIM environment
- Contributing to the realization of data bridges between BIM platforms, databases, and asset management systems
- Improving and optimizing the Common Data Environment (CDE)
- Serving as a central point of contact for BIM processes and CDE configurations
- Coordinating with various internal stakeholders such as Engineering, Data Management, Legal
- Bridging the gap between BIM within projects and BIM for asset management
- Monitoring innovations around openBIM, data integration, and AI and translating them into practice
The focus is strongly on process management, information management, and stakeholder coordination. Technical knowledge of construction and infrastructure projects remains essential to maintain the link with operational reality.
What they ask
- Bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering, architecture, engineering, information management, or equivalent by experience
- Experience with BIM, digital information management, or data management within a construction or infrastructure environment
- Good knowledge of openBIM standards such as IFC and IDS
- Experience with ISO 19650 and lifecycle information management
- Experience with Solibri or comparable model checking software
- Sufficient technical understanding to comprehend and challenge system integrations, APIs, and data flows
- Strong process-oriented and analytical mindset
- Experience with stakeholder management within complex organizations
- Interest in digitalization, data, and AI applications
- Fluent in Dutch and English
