Youth Worker

• You regularly conduct mentor interviews with the young people as a permanent supervisor.
• You maintain contact with external organizations and aid workers, such as guardians, schools, and general practitioners.
• You ensure a safe and livable residential environment for the young people.
• You are a visible point of contact for the young people.
• You work closely within a team, with regular consultations and intervision discussions to ensure the quality of the guidance.

What they ask

• Education: a higher professional education (HBO) diploma (e.g., Social Work, Social Work and Services, SPH, Pedagogy, or Applied Psychology) or a relevant intermediate vocational education (MBO) combined with an SKJ registration.
• You are SKJ registered or have the possibility to register in the short term.
• Work experience: preferably in youth care, mental health care, within a care institution, and/or welfare work.
• Personality: you are resilient, empathetic without losing professional distance, and clear in setting boundaries.
• Flexibility: availability for day, evening, night, and weekend shifts (night shifts are always wake-up shifts) is a strict requirement. You always work with at least one other colleague.
