Within a large government organization, the Senior Contract Manager role is performed within the Procurement and Contract Management (I&C) department, specifically in the Contract and Supplier Management (CLM) team. The team works with four assortments: Medical, Transport, Facility, and Personnel services and training. This unique role contributes to the effective and efficient setup of contracts with commercial market parties, supporting the organization's operations and preparation for readiness.
Attention is given to personal development and specialization within contract management.
What you will do.
- Functionally report to a Coordinating Contract Manager.
- Responsible for the management, implementation, setup, fulfillment, and optimal utilization of contractual agreements with suppliers.
- Optimally support the entire organization through contracts.
- Act as a link between demanders and suppliers.
- Proactively evaluate collaborations and adjust where necessary.
- Ensure that the added value of contracts is utilized.
- Advise internal departments, both solicited and unsolicited, to achieve the best results.
- Quickly form a clear picture of all stakeholders and their interests.
- Ensure the right balance between the content of the contract and the relationship with civil contract partners and various internal stakeholders.
- Be part of an ambitious and growing team of contract managers.
What they ask
- Minimum of a recognized HBO or WO diploma (Bachelor or Master's degree).
- Proven minimum of 7 years of experience as a contract or supplier manager.
- Proficiency in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
- Proven experience with the MS Office suite and proficient in MS Excel.
Preferences.
- Knowledge of methods and standards in contract management (preferably CATS CM) and/or Supplier Relationship Management (SRM).
