HR Advisor

UtrechtHybrid32 hours/week<3months

You will work within a broad HR department of a healthcare organization, consisting of HR, Academy, and Quality services. You will collaborate closely with HR colleagues, an absenteeism advisor, functional administrators, Learning & Development specialists, practical trainers, learning coaches, and colleagues from the Flex office and recruitment and selection, under the leadership of the HR manager. You will also participate in meetings of management teams.

What you do

  • Advise and support managers on various operational and tactical HR issues.
  • Be the point of contact for employees and managers regarding HR.
  • Guide managers through different steps in the employee journey, from onboarding to outflow.
  • Support managers with absenteeism, performance, development, and sustainable employability.
  • Advise on employment conditions and apply relevant collective labor agreement provisions, laws, and regulations, and internal HR policy.
  • Support personnel and, where necessary, labor law issues, and know when to escalate to an experienced colleague.
  • Collaborate with recruitment on attracting and retaining employees.
  • Identify HR issues and areas for improvement within the organization and actively bring them to attention.
  • Contribute to HR projects and the further professionalization of HR.
  • Ensure careful and consistent implementation of HR policy.
  • Keep up with developments in the HR field, collective labor agreements, and relevant laws and regulations, and translate these into practice.

What they ask

  • Completed HBO (higher professional education) in an HR-related field (e.g., HRM or Personnel & Labor).
  • Preferably one to three years of relevant work experience within HR (e.g., as HR Employee, HR Officer, or Junior HR Advisor).
  • Broad interest in HR and a desire to develop into an independent HR advisor.
  • Basic knowledge of labor law, employment conditions, and relevant laws and regulations.
  • Experience in healthcare or knowledge of the CAO VVT is a plus.
  • Digitally skilled and proficient with HR systems and Microsoft Office.

Practical

  • Temporary contract for one year, with the intention of a permanent contract upon good performance.
