A transshipment company is looking for a junior terminal coordinator to plan and coordinate activities on the quay. You will work in a dynamic work environment.
What you will do.
- Responsible for preparing and planning operational activities on the quay.
- Work closely with the Foreman and Dockworkers to ensure optimal terminal functionality.
- Perform loading and unloading operations on ships, rail, and trucks.
- Coordinate warehousing activities and storage.
- Prepare and follow up on shifts.
Profile
- Higher education diploma.
- Good knowledge of Dutch and English.
- Flexible and willing to work in shifts.
- Experience in the logistics sector and knowledge of transport documents is a plus.
- Possesses a driving license.
Practical aspects.
- Full-time employment.
- Good training and option for a permanent contract after 6 months.
- Work in 3 shifts: early (6 AM-2 PM), late (2 PM-10 PM), and day shift (8 AM-4 PM).
