We are looking for enthusiastic physicians who are available outside office hours for ANW services (evening/night and weekend shifts).
What you do
- You perform ANW services (evening/night, weekend) on a flexible basis.
- You answer medical questions from caregivers/nurses.
- You assess whether you can handle requests by phone or if a physical on-site assessment is needed.
- You work independently but can always consult with a Specialist in Geriatric Medicine.
- You meticulously register your consultations in the Electronic Client File.
Profile
- A completed medical degree and valid BIG registration.
- Driving license and access to a car.
- Availability outside office hours (shifts are arranged in consultation).
- Eagerness to learn and independence.
- Affinity with elderly care is a plus, but not a requirement.
Practical
- Work largely from home.
- During your shift, you are the first medical point of contact for healthcare professionals in nursing homes.
- Most requests for help are handled by phone.
- Medical care for vulnerable elderly people.
- You are never alone: backup is always available, and consultation is easily accessible.
- Ideal as a side job alongside your training (ANIOS, AIOS, HAIO, PhD candidates), first clinical work experience (recently graduated as a basic physician), or extra income alongside another job or assignment.
- Guidance from experienced geriatric specialists (backup).
- Work in a digitally supported work environment.
- Training opportunities through an internal academy.
- A committed team with short lines of communication and a collegial atmosphere.
