A major player in the Luxury and Cosmetics sector is looking for a Network Cybersecurity Expert (NSG & Firewall). The objective is to support the Network team in optimizing flows, implementing a change management and rule compliance tool. This project aims to establish a complete, industrialized filtering policy, supported by a tool (already under development) ready for production.
What you will do. Governance & Rule Compliance (NSG / Firewall):
- Lead and perform an exhaustive rule-by-rule review of filtering configurations (NSG and firewalls), based on the current network security policy and associated rules, as well as the analysis of the Top 10 rules shared with infrastructure teams.
- Define, formalize, and apply a complete network security standard, directly transferable and usable on the tool.
Tools & Change Workflows:
- Collaborate with the Network team on the project to implement the tool for managing the workflow of firewall change requests and compliance control.
Architecture Evolution and Change Management:
- Audit the current network design and identify its limitations in the face of future challenges.
- Based on the newly created and validated rules, propose and promote a modern, scalable target architecture adapted to infrastructure evolutions.
- Aim for the adoption of these rules by international teams.
What they ask
- English is mandatory.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in cybersecurity.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a role as a network security expert, managing firewalls and filtering rules.
- In-depth mastery of network security technologies and cloud security groups (NSG).
- Proven experience in auditing, cleaning, and optimizing complex firewall rules (obsolete, redundant, any-any rules).
- Knowledge of firewall rule compliance analysis tools (e.g., Tufin, AlgoSec, FireMon or equivalent).
- Solid foundation in network architecture (routing, segmentation, Zero Trust architectures).
Essential skills.
- Firewall & NSG expertise: administration, configuration, and securing of firewalls and Network Security Groups (NSG).
- Network filtering audit and optimization: analysis, cleaning, and rationalization of rules (obsolete, redundant, any-any).
- Security rule governance: definition and implementation of filtering standards, security rules, and review processes.
- Firewall management and compliance tools: mastery of solutions such as Tufin, AlgoSec, FireMon or equivalent.
- Network architecture & segmentation: routing, network segmentation, security zones, Zero Trust architectures.
- Cloud Network Security: securing flows and network architectures in cloud environments, particularly Azure.
- Firewall Change Management: design and industrialization of workflows for change requests, validation, and compliance control.
- Target architecture & industrialization: ability to audit an existing architecture, define a secure and scalable network architecture, and then industrialize filtering rules.
