You will strengthen a team working on an online cohort study of approximately 10,000 individuals. You will support the scientific activities of this team in the valorization and communication of research results. The study monitors the development of health and well-being within the population, identifies factors influencing resilience and vulnerability, and informs policymakers to guide prevention policies and strengthen societal resilience.
What you will do.
- Create content for the website and social media
- Draft newsletters and press releases
- Plan and organize a study day
- Process research results into infographics, recommendations for government agencies, and 'policy briefs'
- Study recommendations and initiatives in health and social policy related to well-being and quality of life
- Conduct research on participant retention
- Develop recruitment and retention strategies within the framework of the cohort study
Profile
- Degree: master's in human or communication sciences (or other)
- Experience: communication/valorization of scientific research in the field of health or well-being policy
- Strong editorial skills
- Good understanding of (epidemiological) research methodology
- Technical skills: interpretation of health policy indicators; knowledge of graphic design and multimedia tools
- Experience with R is a plus
- Generic skills: collaboration; independent and eager to learn; critical and proactive; able to work accurately and structured
- Language skills: excellent command of Dutch; good command of French and English
