You will work for a government organization that highly values sustainability. The organization manages a large public space with a green character. The organization has a flat structure and short communication lines. You will work in a team that manages the physical public space.
What you will do.
- Advising on intake and environmental tables
- Advising on projects, reviewing Preliminary Designs (VO's) and Final Designs (DO's), and project delivery
- Organizing participation, both reactive and proactive
- Point of contact for residents and interest groups with new initiatives
- Reviewing permit applications related to green space management
- Advising colleagues within the green, sports, and play department
- Ensuring good information and communication
- Establishing frameworks for design and projects
- Elaborating on more complex questions from residents, management, and the organization
- Responsible for project assessment and delivery, and input of revision data
- Responsible for project transfer and inclusion in the management system
- Initiating improvement proposals based on vision and policy in relation to practice
- Making calculations for design review where necessary and creating small designs
- Providing input on strategic policy
- Actively contributing to collaboration with external parties such as provinces, water boards, and other organizations

- Minimum HBO (higher professional education) working and thinking level through a specialized education and relevant work experience in the field of green space management
Preferences.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in green space management
- Relevant experience within a government organization
- Experience with green space management advice at the intake and environmental tables
- Knowledge of the Wabo
