As a Microsoft 365 architect, you will work on the architecture of the digital workplace for a financial regulator. You will provide clear frameworks, guidelines, and choices for Microsoft 365 within the organization. The focus is on enterprise architecture and governance, less on developing concrete solutions. You will collaborate with fellow architects, DevOps teams, and external ICT partners. You will monitor the coherence between identity, security, collaboration, and compliance.
This way, you support supervisors and colleagues in their daily work with a reliable and secure environment.
What you do
- Design and maintain organization-wide guidelines for Microsoft 365 workloads such as Exchange Online, SharePoint
- Advise on identity and access and on security within the Microsoft ecosystem
- Review and challenge technical designs from external ICT partners
- Ensure the scalability, security, compliance, and performance of the architecture
- Document architectures and ensure good knowledge transfer
Profile
- Minimum of a completed HBO (higher professional education) degree
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an architect within Microsoft 365, with demonstrable mastery in your field and a focus on expertise
- In-depth knowledge of Entra ID
- Experience with enterprise environments and making well-considered architectural choices, always results-oriented
- Good communication skills to clearly convey complex matters
- Ability to oversee the bigger picture and translate architecture into shared goals
- Willingness to collaborate as a true team player, with the common goal in mind: take it on and make it happen
- Proactive and responsible attitude, demonstrating ownership and continuously seeking improvement
- Fluency in Dutch, including speaking, reading, and writing, is a mandatory requirement for this role.
