As a home care nurse, you are a valuable caregiver for patients in their familiar home environment. Personal contact makes home care a very rewarding job. You will join an integrated care team consisting of a care coordinator, caregiver, social worker, cleaning assistant, and volunteers. Nursing files are handled quickly and efficiently via a tablet. Travel is done with a company car in your own region.
What you do
As a home care nurse, you have a varied range of tasks:
- giving injections
- administering medication
- wound care
- providing hygienic care
- applying advanced nursing techniques
What they ask
- Nursing diploma (Bachelor, HBO5 or basic nurse) or midwifery (if issued before October 2018)
- Be socially engaged
- Prioritize the well-being of the patient
- Clear and correct communication with patient and supervisor
- Correct processing of administration
- Willingness to work one weekend out of two
- Driving license B
