Casemanager Environmental Planning Act Permit Officer

What you do

  • Reviewing permit applications, ranging from dormer windows and extensions to new construction projects.
  • Providing verbal and written information to applicants (residents or businesses), colleagues, and advisors.
  • Monitoring process progress and checking information for accuracy and completeness.
  • Communicating clearly with applicants.
  • Processing received advice into a legally sound decision.
  • Ensuring applicants receive their permits on time.

What they ask

  • Demonstrable completed education at a minimum of MBO-4 level.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of the Environmental Planning Act, evidenced by a completed education or course in this field.
  • Minimum of 6 months demonstrable work experience since January 1, 2024, with drafting permits under the Environmental Planning Act.

Preferences.

  • Minimum of 3 years demonstrable work experience in the past 5 years in the role of permit officer.
  • Demonstrable completed legal education at a minimum of HBO bachelor level.
  • Demonstrable completed civil engineering and/or directly comparable education at a minimum of MBO-4 level.
  • Demonstrable completed ABW1 training.
  • Demonstrable work experience with RX Mission.
  • Demonstrable work experience with assessing technical construction aspects of a permit.
  • Preferably knowledge of monuments.

Practical

  • Interviews are scheduled for Thursday, October 15, 2026.
  • If meetings need to take place live/in the office, flexibility in the agenda is expected.
