A recently formed successful communication and content company is looking for a financial leader. The organization consists of various disciplines and expertise to develop impactful, qualitative, and data- and content-driven marketing communication programs. With approximately 85 colleagues, strong brands are built for around 60 top clients.

What you will do.

  • Run the Finance department (currently 3 colleagues) as a business enabler, focused on helping clients and the organization grow and optimize.
  • Maintain contacts with various external parties (banks, external accounting firm, insurance companies, external M&A advisors, etc.).
  • Be the contact and sparring partner for all kinds of financial, administrative, or organizational questions.
  • Work closely with the CEO and the management team of which you are a part.
  • Guide M&A dossiers together with the shareholders.
  • Monitor the achievement of Finance targets for the various teams, business units, and the group.

Under your guidance, your team will ensure:

  • Accurate accounting, for timely monthly and annual closing of all entities.
  • The financial aspect of job reviews together with the Client Service Director.
  • The preparation of reports and overviews on demand.
  • The preparation of VAT and other declarations.
  • The monitoring and adjustment of various cash planning (in cash pooling).

What they ask

  • The right diplomas, experience (min. 5 to 7 years), and finance knowledge.
  • Knowledge of the MarCom sector (services) is a clear plus.
  • Knowledge of Teamleader Orbit and Exact is a plus.
  • Knowledge of analytical project tracking and Excel is a must.
  • Being proactive and accurate.
  • Being a team player.
  • Very good knowledge of Dutch and being able to manage in French and English.
  • Clear ambition to excel in your field and thereby drive the group forward.
