The distributed backend systems team, responsible for supporting backend delivery projects, enabling technological transformation, and leading transversal technical projects within a specific division of an organization, is looking for a technical lead. The role focuses on leading a team of developers and technical initiatives.
What you do
- Lead a team of developers and technical initiatives
- Orchestrate workshops with.NET developers to spread knowledge and best practices
- Support code reviews and quality control with internal tools
- Help define technical solutions with architects
- Provide technical support on migration projects
- Ensure strong communication adapted to different project stakeholders
- Provide support to.NET developers on Azure-related patterns and technical integration between on-premise and cloud systems
- Act as SPOC for defining the strategy for application lifecycle management and framework upgrades
- Act as SPOC for cross-team technical coordination
- Follow up issues impacting project delivery and manage related communication
- Contribute to application performance improvement
- Support modernization and compliance of existing assets according to internal standards
- Coach and lead junior and medior profiles
- Participate in documentation of transversal processes
- Streamline communication impacting development flow toward project leaders, team leaders, analysts
- Participate in the setup of new integration patterns
- Develop.NET solutions, including APIs and background worker processes
- Apply strong knowledge of Azure Integration Services, especially Azure messaging spaces
- Organize workshops to share knowledge with developers and analysts
- Perform code reviews and promote best practices
- Act as SPOC for transversal technical initiatives or integrations
- Help build a positive team spirit
- Participate in technical and process documentation
- Ensure regular progress reporting to management
- Help share workload on delivery projects when needed

- Minimum 8 years of professional experience in.NET backend, including APIs and background worker processes
- Minimum 3 years of experience with Azure Integration Services
- Excellent technical skills in.NET C# and Entity Framework
- Strong knowledge of Azure Messaging space and Azure Active Directory
- General knowledge of IT platforms
- Continuous improvement mindset for processes and applications
- Ability to write technical documentation and lead workshops for developers and analysts
- Participation in performance optimization of critical assets
- Contribution to delivery projects and sharing of code best practices
- Structured and efficient communication on project progress to concerned parties
- Code reviews and technical coaching for other developers
- Microsoft Office tools, at least Word and Excel

- Client data domain knowledge
- Insurance sector knowledge
- Experience with.NET Core and migration of.NET applications to recent versions (6 to 8+)
