You play an important role in the preparation and execution of multidisciplinary CAPEX projects at a production site. You ensure that projects are executed safely, efficiently, and according to agreed quality, planning, and budget. You are the central point of contact for contractors and work closely with engineering, operations, maintenance, and other involved disciplines. You maintain an overview of on-site activities and ensure that all parties are well-coordinated.
What you will do.
- Coordinate the execution of multidisciplinary projects and technical changes, both during and outside planned shutdowns
- Monitor safety and ensure that work complies with legal requirements, QHSE procedures, and quality standards
- Develop project plans with the planner, production, and maintenance, and monitor progress, budget
- Act as a central point of contact for contractors, coordinating work and ensuring timely availability of materials
- Advise Lead Engineers on the practical feasibility of projects and contribute to planning, budget, and technical solutions
- Assess variations (additional and reduced work), monitor financial progress, and provide clear progress reports
Profile
You are an experienced Construction Manager who prioritizes safety and maintains an overview within complex technical projects. You are highly organized, able to bring different parties together, and accustomed to taking responsibility during project execution.
- A completed technical education at HBO/bachelor level
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably within the chemical process industry
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental standards and legislation
- Experience in supervising multidisciplinary technical projects
- Experience with work during shutdowns and turnarounds
- Insight into all common technical disciplines: Mechanical Engineering (static and rotating), Electrical, Instrumentation, Insulation, Scaffolding
