Day Activity Coordinator Child and Youth

Contribute to a valuable and meaningful life for children with intellectual disabilities and challenging behavior within a care organization. You will apply your expertise in complex care and build meaningful daily activities for children with intensive support needs.

What you will do.

• You will coordinate various day activity locations.
• You will fulfill the role of personal supervisor for external children within our day activities.
• You will actively contribute to discussions about follow-up placements and development opportunities.
• You will guide and support children with intensive support needs in their daily lives, both at home and during day activities.
• You will establish day activity goals for the personal plan and coordinate these with the personal supervisor, under the responsibility of the behavioral expert.
• Within the complex care circle, you will combine working at the day activities with working at the residential location.
• Together with colleagues, you will ensure continuity, connection between living and day activities, and a consistent guidance style.
• You will work irregular shifts, including sleep shifts.
• You will collaborate closely with colleagues, therapists, relatives, and other stakeholders.
• You will act according to protocols and methodologies during escalations.
• You will stimulate self-reliance and social participation.
• You will report on progress and contribute to the development of new activities.
