As an Environmental Coordinator A or B, you are responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring the environmental policy within an industrial or technical environment. You support organizations in complying with environmental legislation, advise on permits and compliance, and actively contribute to a sustainable and future-oriented environmental policy.
You combine thorough knowledge of environmental legislation with a pragmatic approach and know how to translate environmental objectives into concrete actions within the organization.
What you will do.
- Develop, implement, and monitor environmental policy
- Advise management and stakeholders on environmental legislation, permits
- Follow up on environmental permits and contacts with competent authorities
- Identify and monitor environmental aspects, risks, and improvement measures
- Guide internal and external environmental audits and inspections
- Follow up on environmental objectives, KPIs
- Advise on waste management, emissions, emissions, energy, water, and other environmental topics
- Sensitize and support employees on environmentally conscious work
- Actively contribute to continuous improvement of environmental processes and sustainability initiatives
Profile
- Recognition as Environmental Coordinator A or B
- Relevant experience as an Environmental Coordinator or in a similar environmental function
- Good knowledge of environmental legislation and permit procedures
- Experience within an industrial, technical, or project environment
- Accurate, strong analytical skills, and fluent in communication with various stakeholders
- Takes responsibility and works independently within a dynamic environment
- Knowledge of Dutch is important
- Knowledge of English is a plus
