- Work as a specialist in a team of Cost Managers.
What you will do.
- Support the setup, guidance, execution, and reporting of Business Cases, LCC reports, or sourcing reports.
- Consult with other cost functionalities within the organization and industry experts to report a transparent, reliable, feasible, and executable financial picture of implementation variants.
- Implement the chosen implementation variant within the established financial frameworks.
- Support the translation of the chosen implementation variant into financial structures for logistical visions and performance contracts.
- Support the Project Leader and purchasing manager in the tender process with suppliers.
- Act as a financial negotiator when concluding performance contracts.
- Prepare the user units and the industry for the management of performance contracts and operational costs during the implementation phase.
- Ensure transparent, reliable, feasible, and executable reporting of financial findings and insights.
What they ask
- HBO Bachelor's degree or demonstrable HBO work and thinking level, preferably in Business Economics or Public Administration.
- 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience gained in a team and/or project team.
- Some project experience in (inter)national material projects.
- Experience in an analytical or process-oriented role.
- Preferably some affinity with the world of government organizations.
- Preferably familiar with the structure and working methods of the material organization and the management staff.
- Experience with WORD and EXCEL.
- Dutch and English in word and writing.
- Ability to quickly master work processes, procedures, laws and regulations, and methods and techniques.
- Good advisory skills and experience with reporting (oral and written).
- Customer-focused, environmentally aware, and strong communicator.
- Analytical, eager to learn, and effective in planning and organizing.
- Accustomed to working in a team, but also capable of working independently.
Practical
- A security screening is part of the selection procedure.
- A reference check and assessment may be part of the selection procedure.
- To be eligible for this position, you must be from a country within the European Economic Area or possess a combined permit for residence and work (GVVA).
