A psychology practice specializing in short-term basic mental healthcare for young adults (students, people in their twenties and thirties) with mild to moderately severe psychological complaints is looking for a healthcare psychologist or experienced basic psychologist to strengthen its team on a freelance basis. The team consists of approximately 30 independent therapists who have a lot of autonomy over their agenda and treatments, but work within a committed team.
The collaboration is characterized by short lines of communication, minimal bureaucracy, and an informal and egalitarian way of working.
What you will do.
- Treat young adults with various complaints within basic mental healthcare.
- Guide clients from intake to conclusion.
- Work short-term and evidence-based, with ample room to shape the treatment based on your own expertise.
What they ask
- Healthcare psychologist OR basic psychologist with at least three years of relevant treatment experience.
- Affinity with young adults.
- Ability to independently treat a wide range of complaints within basic mental healthcare.
- Easily build a personal therapeutic relationship.
- Experience with short-term and evidence-based treatment.
- Preferably familiar with ACT, CBT, and/or EMDR.
- Be independent and entrepreneurial, but also enjoy sparring with colleagues.
Preferences.
- Experience with ADHD diagnostics and/or schema therapy.
