Child, Youth and Family Counselor

• You support children during various (group) activities, according to the care plan.
• You give them space to discover what they can do and guide them at their own pace.
• You identify where a child needs extra help and communicate this to the personal counselor.
• You work in an early intervention center for children aged 0 to 5, where parents can come with their child in case of (suspected) developmental delay and/or behavioral problems.
• You work with 8 different groups, each with 8-9 children, who follow a fixed daily program and individual guidance.
• You observe and report on the progress of individual plans and goals.
• You collaborate with physiotherapists, speech therapists, and educational psychologists.
• When substituting at the after-school care (BSO), you support children from the entire target group and provide a safe, cozy place for children to play, relax, and grow after school.
