You will primarily focus on the recovery of clients, with the goal that they can eventually live independently at home again. During rehabilitation, clients often relearn everyday actions, such as walking or talking. As a Caregiver IG or Nurse, you play an active, motivating, and stimulating role in the daily rehabilitation process within a healthcare institution. Working night shifts is an important part of the role, with the possibility of a fixed night shift.
What you do
- Support and stimulate clients during their rehabilitation, so they regain as much independence as possible and can safely return home.
- Perform care and nursing tasks and actively contribute to the client's recovery and well-being.
- Work closely within a multidisciplinary team including physiotherapists, occupational therapists, social workers, dietitians, psychologists, and informal caregivers to provide the best possible rehabilitation trajectory.
Profile
- Graduated Caregiver IG / Nurse.
- Experienced in or familiar with rehabilitation and the rehabilitation environment.
- Flexible, empathetic, and strong in collaboration.
- Able to find the right balance between caring for and supporting with hands-off approach.
- Encourages clients to push their limits where possible, but also knows when it is necessary to slow down.
- Intuitively understands what a client needs.
- Works purposefully with colleagues to achieve the best possible rehabilitation outcome.
- Strong in organizing, listens well, and actively contributes ideas about the optimal rehabilitation process.
- Works flexibly according to a schedule within a 24-hour occupancy.
- Easily navigates digital systems.
