Human Resources Advisor
Do you want to contribute your HR expertise to an organization that is committed to children every day? As an HR advisor, you play an important role in this. You help an organization translate organizational issues into clear and applicable HR policy. You advise managers on complex HR and employment law issues and contribute to the further development of the HR organization. Experience in developing and leading HR projects is valuable, but you can also develop further in this area with us.
What you do
As an HR advisor, you are a strong substantive discussion partner for team leaders, department managers, and the board. You look beyond the individual HR question at hand. You investigate what is going on, bring different interests and perspectives together, and translate issues into advice, policy, and concrete solutions. You work closely with your HR colleagues and other colleagues within the organization.
- developing, updating, and implementing HR policy
- translating organizational issues and developments into HR proposals and policy
- advising supervisors and the management team on HR issues, organizational changes
- advising on employment law, terms of employment, legal status, and relevant social legislation
- guiding and advising on complex employee issues, for example regarding performance, absenteeism, reintegration, labor disputes
- monitoring developments in laws and regulations and assessing what these mean for the organization
- identifying trends, risks, and improvement opportunities and translating these into proposals for the organization
- developing and leading organization-wide HR projects
- contributing to the further professionalization of our HR services and expanding the HR product portfolio
What they ask For this role, it is important that you:
- have demonstrable experience in developing, advising on, and implementing HR policy
- possess current and solid knowledge of Dutch employment law and relevant social legislation and can translate this into practical and careful HR advice
- can act independently as a strong substantive discussion partner for supervisors and management
- can analyze complex HR and organizational issues and translate them into policy, advice, and concrete solutions
- can recognize, weigh, and utilize different interests and perspectives
- can collaborate well and actively use the perspectives and expertise of others
- can communicate professionally in both Dutch and English, orally and in writing
