A modern dental practice is looking for a dentist for a temporary locum. You will work one fixed day per week for a defined period. The practice is a medium-sized group practice with seven treatment rooms and a team of approximately 30 employees. Various dental disciplines are represented within the practice, such as general dentistry, cosmetic treatments, oral hygiene, and prosthetic care.
The treatment team consists of multiple dentists, dental hygienists, and (prevention) assistants, ensuring short lines of communication and easy professional consultation. The practice works with modern equipment and high-quality materials.
What you will do.
- You will have your own patient agenda and focus on regular dental care
- You will examine and diagnose, discuss treatment options with patients, and perform treatments independently, with the support of a dental assistant
- Personal attention to the patient is important; you will involve patients in advice and treatment plans and reassure anxious patients
- You will ensure meticulous documentation in the patient file
