We are looking for a cover teacher for an international school offering the IB program.
- There are opportunities in various classes, from Early Years to Upper Years.
- The hours and contract are negotiable, ranging from one day to full-time, depending on cover needs and candidate availability.
- Several cover positions are currently being published in the areas of PE (physical education), Dutch subject, and Early Years teacher and/or Teaching assistant.
- The school is a young, dynamic Dutch international primary school, part of a larger educational institution, offering the Primary Years Programme (IB PYP).
- Our students come from a diverse range of nationalities, cultures, and backgrounds, united by the goal of learning for a sustainable future.

- Experience or knowledge of teaching the IB program, specifically the Primary Years Program (PYP) and inquiry-based learning, or willingness to develop in this area.
- Proven excellent classroom teacher.
- Sound IT skills and a passion for embracing innovation.
- Excellent inter-cultural communication skills.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in teams.
- Capable of leading when necessary.
- Adaptable, positive, and pioneering.
- Empathy with and a willingness to care for children.

- An interest in contributing new ideas.
- A willingness to learn, including the Dutch language.

- A teaching qualification that is or will be recognised by the Dutch authorities (DUO).
- Sound academic qualifications.
- EU citizen or have a valid permit to work in The Netherlands.
Desired.
- Prior experience of working in an international school.
- Experience in International Baccalaureate curriculum development.
- A good track record in collaborative planning and working.
- Further qualifications and experience in training, coaching, and presenting workshops.
Practical
- A teaching position.
- A contract that can be part-time (minimum 0.2 FTE) or full-time (1.0 FTE).
- A truly international community of children, parents, teachers, and other stakeholders.
- Salary according to the Dutch collective labour agreement for Primary Education.
