What you do
- Point of contact for administrators and departments for professional communication and participation.
- Maintaining close contacts with the press for spokesperson duties and agenda setting.
- Advising on communication within diverse areas such as housing, agriculture, recreation, public space management, and business operations.
- Collaborating in project teams on multi-year projects, such as a regional development project.
- Guiding communication processes, coordinating communication efforts, and monitoring the planning and production of communication tools.
- Participating in the organization's on-call service after training, for deployment in smaller calamities or crisis situations (GRIP 0 and GRIP 1).
What they ask
- Completed HBO or WO degree in Communication, Journalism, Communication Sciences, or similar.
- Demonstrable experience in drafting and executing communication plans.
- Experience advising management, directors, and/or board members.
- Minimum 3 years of demonstrable work experience as a communication advisor.
Preferences.
- Experience with crisis and spokesperson communication.
- Knowledge and experience with social media, web editing, and online communication.
- Experience with project-based work.
- Up-to-date with the latest news and communication trends.
- Proactive and independent.
- Affinity with the Frisian language and a positive attitude towards multilingualism.
