A government organization is looking for an IAM Cyber Security Engineer. The Business Security department protects the organization 24/7 and plays a crucial role in the continuity of internal and external services. Within the Identity & Access Management (IAM) team, you will work on a secure, modern digital work environment where automation, integration, productivity, and collaboration are central.
You will directly contribute to designing, building, and managing access and identity solutions that form the basis of a secure organization. You will ensure that the right people have access to the right resources at the right time.
What you will do.
- Develop, manage, and optimize Identity & Access Management (IAM) solutions.
- Work technically and functionally on the continuous development, integration, testing, implementation, operation, monitoring, and support of the IAM product.
- Implement, manage, and continuously improve automations to protect crown jewels and critical systems.
- Automate IAM processes and integrate with various critical systems.
- Make key controls transparent via dashboards and strengthen monitoring and security controls.
- Support colleagues with cybersecurity issues and ensure that IAM services remain robust, secure, and future-proof.
- Collaborate with the Product Owner on the roadmap and contribute to the further professionalization of the product.
- Ensure that the IAM environment always complies with the latest security standards and best practices.

- Completed education in Informatics/Business Administration/ICT.
- Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and ITIL (change and incident management).
- Certifications such as CSA, SC200.
- English and Dutch spoken and written.
- Minimum 5 years of current (in the past 7 years) demonstrable experience with Identity & Access Management and IAM solutions.
- Current (in the past 5 years) demonstrable experience with implementing protocols and solutions such as Identity Lifecycle Management, Privileged Access Management, Secret/Vault Management, SSO, and related concepts.
- Current (in the past 5 years) demonstrable experience with Java and JavaScript for building and implementing workflows, adapters, and complex identity providers.
- Current (in the past 5 years) demonstrable experience with REST applications.
- Current (in the past 5 years) demonstrable experience with CI/CD pipelines for automation.
