A specialized project management firm is looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager who wants to act as a delegated client representative for developers and investors. This organization was founded from the need for more technical depth in construction files and focuses strongly on the preliminary phase: budgets, tenders, and purchases. They guide projects from A to Z and ensure correct pricing and quality execution.
The projects are very diverse: from residential developments to offices and mixed-use projects, ranging from medium-sized files to larger developments. Currently, reinforcement is primarily sought for a reconversion project.
What you do
As a Project Manager, you are responsible for monitoring construction projects from preparation to execution:
- Manage projects from budget phase to delivery
- Thoroughly analyze specifications, plans
- Organize and guide tenders
- Negotiate with contractors and subcontractors
- Optimize budgets and technical solutions
- Monitor execution
- Direct and coordinate involved construction partners
- Monitor planning, quality
- Act as a point of contact for the client and stakeholders
- Detect risks and adjust where necessary
Profile
- Experienced project leader/project manager with strong technical background
- Master's degree in a construction-related field
- Ideally, experience with a general contractor
- Experience with projects of various scales (> €5M)
- Strong in technical analysis and file knowledge
- Experience with tenders and negotiations
- Very strong communication and professionalism towards clients and contractors
- Flexible and solution-oriented
- Looking for more substance and less daily site pressure
