As a civil affairs specialist, you will be involved in complex tasks in the field of Civil Registry, International Private Law (IPR), Basic Registration of Persons (BRP), nationality legislation, and naturalization. The emphasis of your specialization is primarily on the Civil Registry. This involves replacing a permanent employee and is therefore an embedded function with continuous core activities under leadership and supervision within a government organization.
What you do
- Process complex mutations and corrections in the systems
- Assess migration requests and (foreign) source documents
- Process decisions and mutations in the BRP
- Provide specialist advice to colleagues, front office
- Support and guide/coach back office and front office colleagues
- Transfer specialist knowledge to the Civil Affairs team

- Proven completed education at a minimum of HBO bachelor level
- Minimum 6 years of proven work experience as a civil affairs employee at a government organization
- Minimum 2 years of proven work experience in the past 6 years as a Civil Affairs Specialist
Preferences.
- Proven completed education in the field of civil affairs
- Proven work experience in civil affairs at a government organization with more than 100,000 inhabitants
- Proven work experience with complex IPR and nationality issues
- Proven work experience with naturalization applications
