As an IT Legal Counsel at a technology company, you will be involved from the start in commercial processes and strategic decision-making. You will advise on complex legal issues within the IT and technology domain and work intensively with multidisciplinary teams to further strengthen the legal foundation of our services.
What you will do.
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial contracts, IT agreements, and licensing agreements.
- Advising on tenders, compliance issues, and regulations within the IT and telecom sector.
- Translating legal risks into clear and practically applicable business advice for internal stakeholders.
- Supporting innovation initiatives, including questions related to AI and emerging technologies.
- Collaborating with colleagues from various disciplines to enable commercial opportunities legally and manage risks.
Profile
- Minimum of 6 years of experience as a lawyer or in-house counsel, preferably within IT, technology, or commercial contracts.
- Demonstrable experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex IT contracts and service agreements.
- Strong knowledge of regulations and compliance within the IT and telecom sector.
- Excellent command of both Dutch and English.
- Affinity with innovation and AI, and an understanding of the possibilities, limitations, and impact of new technologies within the legal field.
Practical
- You will be part of the legal team of a technology company and report to the Deputy General Counsel.
- Within the team, you will collaborate with experienced legal professionals who contribute daily to complex commercial processes, innovation projects, and strategic decision-making.
