You provide a pleasant home for people with visual and intellectual disabilities. You support residents who are blind or visually impaired and have an intellectual disability with their daily care. Technical nursing procedures and night or sleep shifts are not part of this role. You can choose a fixed small-scale living group or variety as a flexible worker.
What you will do.
- Support residents with daily care (ADL), such as washing, dressing, and showering.
- Guide residents through daily activities.
- Provide personal attention and ensure a familiar, safe environment.
- Perform household tasks, such as cooking, cleaning, and keeping the home tidy.
You will work together in a close-knit team.
Profile
- Preferably a Helper diploma (level 2).
- Affinity with or experience in disability care, elderly care, or another care environment.
- Available for early and/or late shifts (start between 7:00 and 7:30 AM, end between 10:00 and 10:30 PM).
- No night or sleep shifts.
- Option to choose between a fixed position in a living group or as a flexible worker across different homes.
- Candidates without a Helper diploma but with relevant care experience (e.g., as an informal caregiver or in a supportive care role) are also invited to apply.
Practical aspects.
- No technical nursing procedures.
- Extensive onboarding program and various training and education opportunities.
- A Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) is required.
- A reference check is part of the procedure.
