This position is for a practical assistant for the Assistant Academic Staff of a Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy, Department of Supportive Clinical Sciences, within an educational institution. The home base for this role will be a campus in Jette.
What you will do.
- You will be involved in teaching communication skills to medical students in basic training and master-after-master programs.
- You will provide education and training in communication skills to small groups of students.
- You will perform tasks in the evaluation of skills education through knowledge tests and station trials.
- You will contribute to the organization of communication education, by co-developing education and training in the field of communication skills.
- You will contribute to community service, outreach, and recruitment activities.
Profile
- You hold a Master's degree in medicine (doctor), psychology, educational sciences, communication, or a related field.
- You have excellent knowledge of Dutch, both spoken and written.
- You possess good communication skills and an enthusiastic attitude.
- You are quality-oriented, integer, and collaborative.
- Experience in medical communication education and as a healthcare professional is a recommendation.
- You are able to handle flexible schedules.
- You endorse the educational vision of the institution.
- Knowledge of the teaching language (Dutch) at CEFR level C1 is required.
- Knowledge of the administrative language (Dutch) at CEFR level B2 is required after a maximum of 5 years.
- As a (non-)EEA national, you must meet the conditions for obtaining a valid permit and residence conditions.
