The opportunities as a Systems Engineer are broad, as work is carried out for various domains. This can range from the defense market, where you contribute to system integration, to the energy market for the automation of engineering processes, or the infrastructure market for establishing functional requirements in the design of complex systems. The domain and project that best suit you will be determined together.
What you will do.
- You will work within a team of experienced professionals who help organizations with engineering automation for better project efficiency, communication, risk management, and cost control.
- You can count on long-term assignments, allowing you to get to know an organization well and provide real added value.
- Your work is an interesting mix of technology and human interaction. By clarifying the client's needs and objectives, you ultimately arrive at solutions that are effective, efficient, and safe, and that meet user expectations.
- You will work on your own development and that of your team, for example by attending knowledge sessions and staying informed of the latest developments in systems engineering through internal and external organizations.
- Collaboration and knowledge sharing are central; regular physical and digital meetings are held.
- You will be assigned a permanent buddy to guide you and answer any (technical) questions.
Profile
- You convince others of the value of systems engineering and explain methods understandably.
- You are good at listening, asking probing questions, and making connections to quickly ascertain what is precisely needed in an organization.
- Minimum HBO level (higher professional education).
- Proficient in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
- Minimum two years of experience in applying systems engineering.
- Candidates without suitable experience, but convinced that this job suits them, are also cordially invited to apply and will be trained as a systems engineer.
