With curriculum revisions in both the medical bachelor's and master's programs, education is undergoing significant changes in the coming years. These changes place new demands on our teachers. As a didactic expert, you translate these changes into new and attractive training offerings for teachers, making an important contribution to the development and implementation of the renewed education. This is a temporary position within an academic medical center.
What you will do.
- (Further) develop and implement (new) training offerings and courses, particularly in line with the educational principles of the revised bachelor's programs.
- Develop and implement customized solutions for teachers and clinicians on-site.
- (Co-)coordinate didactic qualifications, including advising on and selecting teachers for these qualifications.
- Translate national developments in academic medical education into contemporary training and qualifications for teachers.
What they ask
- A completed academic degree, preferably in educational sciences or another relevant field such as psychology or medicine, supplemented with educational knowledge.
- Additional training and/or experience as a trainer, (junior)lecturer, or supervisor.
- Affinity with academic medical education and healthcare.
- Interest in developing, organizing, and implementing didactic training for medical professionals.
- Excellent command of Dutch and English, both written and spoken.

Practical
You work at the faculty of medicine and are part of the Education Strategy and Policy team. You will work in a team of staff advisors. Together, they innovate, advise, and support the bachelor's and master's programs and additional master's programs. Within the team, collaboration and development are central. You work in an environment where there is room for new ideas and where you continue to develop yourself. Education is one of the core activities of the academic medical center.
