The Medical Information Management (MIM) department plays a crucial role in the development and maintenance of digital information provision within a public healthcare organization.
A complex, dynamic, and meaningful environment that is important for delivering good and continuous care. MIM consists of four sections: information and data management, functional management & support, information security & privacy protection, and project and portfolio management. Together, they implement an integrated information provision for the healthcare chain, optimally supporting the registration, exchange, and analysis of data.
The functional management & support (FBO) section is responsible for the operational support of the healthcare organization's information systems. This includes operational support for handling needs and maintaining generic IT/IV facilities, as well as the development and functional management of the healthcare organization's business-critical applications.
What you do
As a Functional Administrator HiX, you ensure that the digital information provision remains operational, user-friendly, and meets the needs of our healthcare professionals.
- Functionally managing and improving the HiX EHR systems for our various healthcare institutions.
- Serving as the first point of contact for user questions, incidents, and change requests related to HiX.
- Guiding our healthcare professionals to use HiX effectively and translating user wishes into concrete adjustments or improvements.
- Supporting projects in setting up, testing, and implementing new HiX implementations and functional enhancements.
What they ask
- HBO (higher professional education) working and thinking level, with at least a completed MBO (intermediate vocational education) degree, preferably in healthcare, ICT, or information management.
- Up-to-date knowledge and several years of experience as a functional administrator or HiX application administrator.
- Knowledge and experience with blood management and laboratory information systems (BBIS/LIS) is a significant advantage.
- Knowledge of BiSL, ITIL, or other management standards is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and a solution-oriented approach.
- Affinity with the context of public service.
