Psychologist

As a psychologist at a healthcare organization in the Meierijstad region, you will work in departments with residents primarily having psychogeriatric care needs. You will receive a lot of trust and freedom to focus on situations that are important at that moment, balancing the wishes of families, residents, practitioners, and care teams.

What you will do.

• Investigate, observe, and independently diagnose through mediative therapy to positively influence behavior.
• Provide advice based on diagnoses.
• Guide clients, their relatives, care teams, and practitioners, and provide tailored information.
• Fill your agenda with behavioral visits, interaction meetings, and multidisciplinary meetings.
• Conduct individual conversations with residents, their relatives, care teams, and practitioners.
• Perform (neuro)psychological research both on-site and in the community for diagnosis and advice to specialists.
• Ensure structure in your agenda and activities.
• Create and give clinical lessons on request, such as on specific disease patterns and behavior.
• Ensure good and concrete reporting in the care file.
• Participate in projects related to the quality of care and treatment.
• As a master psychologist, have the opportunity to take on departments together with a colleague psychologist and develop yourself within elderly care.
