Strategic Policy Advisor Housing

A Strategic Policy Advisor Housing is sought to cover maternity leave.

• The candidate will work at a strategic level on current and complex housing issues within a government organization.
• National and regional developments in housing and public housing will be translated into local policy, administrative advice, and actionable follow-up.
• The intended result is continuity in strategic advice and implementation within the housing domain, with progress on the regional housing ordinance, the recalibration of the housing deal, the recalibration of the housing construction assessment framework, and administrative and regional consultations.

What you will do.

• Guide and establish the regional housing ordinance.
• Finalize the recalibration of the housing deal.
• Start the recalibration of the Public Housing assessment framework for housing construction.
• Advise the administrator for the Housing & Real Estate thematic table.
• Participate in the grid congestion working group.
• Participate in the Environmental Vision/search for expansion location working group.
• Implement performance agreements with housing corporations and cooperation partners.
• Advise management, internal stakeholders, and the board.
• Maintain contacts with regional partners, corporations, and other involved parties.

What they ask

• Demonstrable completed education at a minimum of HBO bachelor level.
• Minimum of 2 years of demonstrable work experience within the housing policy field and/or public housing.
• Demonstrable work experience with policy advice in an administrative and political environment.
• Demonstrably willing to be physically present on-site for at least 2 days.

Preferences.

• Minimum of 5 years of demonstrable work experience as a strategic policy advisor housing/public housing with or for a municipality or other government organization.
• Minimum of 5 years of demonstrable experience with regional cooperation projects and complex administrative processes within the housing/public housing policy field.
• Demonstrable knowledge of current national and regional developments in housing/public housing.
• Minimum of 5 years of demonstrable work experience with advising the board, management, and internal stakeholders in an administrative-political environment.
