Are you a basic doctor and curious about a different perspective within medicine? For an occupational health service, we are looking for an ANIOS who wants to delve deeper into occupational medicine. In this role, not only the medical complaint is central. You also look at the work situation, personal circumstances, and the possibilities for someone to stay at work or return. This makes the profession broad and varied. You have a lot of personal contact and work together with various professionals.
At the same time, you get the space to develop yourself and take on more and more responsibility.
What you do
As an ANIOS, you guide employees with health complaints that affect their work. You discuss their situation, make a medical assessment, and look together at appropriate next steps. Your activities include:
- Conducting medical consultations with employees
- Assessing complaints and their consequences for functioning at work
- Guiding employees during their reintegration
- Advising on return to work and work capacity
- Maintaining contact with employers and other involved parties
- Recognizing signals that can lead to long-term absenteeism
- Advising on prevention and sustainable employability
- Consulting with colleagues and other experts within the occupational health service
You do not work alone. You are part of a multidisciplinary team with, for example, practice assistants, occupational health nurses, and work & health advisors. This allows you to get to know the profession from different angles.
What they ask We are looking for a basic doctor who is interested in the interaction between work and health. You do not need to have experience in occupational medicine yet. Even if this field is completely new to you, you can start well here. Furthermore, you have:
- A completed medical degree and a valid BIG registration, or you will complete your training soon
- A B driving license
- Good command of the Dutch and English languages
- Strong communication skills
- An independent and proactive attitude
- Interest in prevention, work, and sustainable employability
Practical
This concerns a permanent employment contract with a gross monthly salary of €5,500 to €7,000 on a full-time basis. In addition, you can count on:
