Absence Case Manager

As an Absence Case Manager, you are an important sparring partner for employers in the field of absenteeism and reintegration. You guide employers through their absenteeism files and ensure they know which steps are necessary and when they need to be taken. You primarily interact with employers and actively think along with them about absenteeism issues, the Gatekeeper Improvement Act (Wet Verbetering Poortwachter), and sustainable employability.

You maintain an overview of the files, monitor important deadlines, and ensure employers are well-prepared for each next step. For medical guidance, you work closely with company doctors and other professionals. Due to short lines of communication, you can quickly switch gears and provide employers with appropriate advice.

What you will do.

• Advise and guide employers on absenteeism and reintegration issues
• Manage and coordinate absenteeism files
• Monitor progress and legal deadlines within the Wet Verbetering Poortwachter
• Advise employers on next steps within a file
• Prepare and coordinate actions related to reintegration
• Liaise with company doctors and other involved professionals
• Identify bottlenecks and advise the employer on these
• Support employers in implementing an effective and sustainable absenteeism policy
• Ensure correct and complete administrative processing of files

You can clearly explain complex information, easily maintain an overview, and know when to take decisive action. Furthermore, you find it interesting to handle various absenteeism issues and to think along with employers about solutions.

• Experience as an absence case manager or in a similar role
• Knowledge of the Wet Verbetering Poortwachter
• Preferably, a CROV diploma
• Clear and professional communication
• Accurate and independent work
• Ability to switch effectively between different files and employers
