You enjoy hands-on work, solving technical problems, and contributing to a safe and reliable production process. You perform first-line mechanical maintenance on production equipment. Your activities include inspections, fault diagnostics, corrective, and preventive maintenance according to approved procedures and work orders.
What you do
- Perform first-line mechanical maintenance and repairs on production equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical faults to safely and reliably restore equipment to operation.
- Execute preventive maintenance according to approved work orders and maintenance schedules.
- Support Engineering and technical specialists with complex faults and major repairs.
- Coordinate activities with Production and accurately record performed maintenance.
Profile
- A technical education in Mechanical Engineering or a similar field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience with mechanical maintenance within a production environment.
- Good skills in diagnosing and resolving mechanical faults.
- Strong technical insight and genuine interest in practical technical work, such as tinkering with cars or other mechanical projects.
- Ability to read technical drawings and follow work instructions.
- A proactive and safety-conscious work attitude and the ability to work independently.
- Good communication skills in both Dutch and English.
Practical
- Weekend work possible depending on production needs.
- Willingness to perform on-call and breakdown services, if applicable.
