A government organization works on topics such as grid congestion, housing construction, the Environmental Act, sustainability, spatial development, economy, and mobility. A starting strategic policy advisor will soon be appointed, which is why an experienced strategic advisor is temporarily sought. The main task is to transfer knowledge and experience to this colleague and help them further develop in the field.
The employee will be guided on strategic issues and in developing the necessary skills, with attention to the political-administrative environment, various interests, and the coherence between topics within the physical domain. The goal is for the employee to be able to function independently and confidently as a strategic policy advisor after the assignment. Where necessary and within the available hours, strategic issues and dossiers will be handled independently.
At the end of the assignment, knowledge and working methods will have been transferred, and the starting strategic policy advisor will have sufficient tools to continue the work independently.

- Help to create coherence between different policy areas, interests
- Handle strategic dossiers, projects, and regional issues where necessary
- Advise on strategy, direction, and priorities within the physical domain
- Advise on the coherence and quality of Planning & Control products where necessary
Profile
We are looking for an experienced strategic advisor with extensive knowledge of the physical domain, who can transfer this knowledge in a clear and practical way. You work independently and result-oriented, maintain an overview, and can collaborate well with various parties inside and outside the organization.
