You will be the driving force in a scrum/agile team, working closely with a Business Analyst to translate business processes into an application. You identify opportunities, devise, and build smart Low-Code solutions to accelerate current and future operational processes. Bi-weekly, you will meet with end-users from the operations of a defense organization and present the completed work from the sprint.
You will engage with them and critically think along about how the application can best support business processes. Additionally, you continuously optimize the built solutions and assist with management and further development. Besides production work, there is ample attention for innovation, knowledge building, and sharing. This gives you the opportunity and space to get to know the organization broadly and discover where the most impact can be delivered.

- Discover opportunities and devise smart Low-Code solutions
- Build Low-Code solutions that accelerate operational processes

What they ask
- University (WO) level of work and thinking, minimum HBO bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in software development and application development
- Minimum ServiceNow CSA certificate (ServiceNow CAD certificate is a plus)
- Demonstrable experience in building and maintaining IT software applications
- Experience in coaching junior colleagues
- Experience with Scrum/Agile and DevOps methodologies
- Experience with requirement analysis for non-IT users
- Knowledge of data modeling techniques (e.g., UML, ERD)
- Experience with scripting (e.g., JavaScript, Python)
- Experience in creating functional and technical designs
- Excellent command of the Dutch and English languages, both spoken and written
Practical
- A mandatory security screening and reference check (upon request) are part of the selection procedure
- You are required to take the oath or promise for civilian employees of a defense organization
- Dutch nationality is required
